What Data We Collect

Member registration (email sign-up)
When you sign up as a free member, we collect your email address. This is used to send you newsletters, the FGIEN email series, and membership-related communications via Ghost's built-in membership system (powered by Mailgun).

Contact form submissions
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content, solely to respond to your inquiry.

Technical data (server logs)
Ghost Pro automatically logs standard access data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of visit. This data is used for platform security and is not linked to personal profiles.

Analytics
This site does not currently use Google Analytics or third-party tracking. If this changes, this policy will be updated and users notified.


How Long We Store Your Data

Member email address: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Contact form submissions: 12 months from submission.
Server logs: 30 days (Ghost Pro standard).


External Services

Ghost Pro (hosting)
This site runs on Ghost Pro, operated by Ghost Foundation. Ghost Pro servers are located in the EU. Ghost's privacy policy: ghost.org/privacy

Mailgun (email delivery)
Newsletters and membership emails are sent via Mailgun, a service provided by Sinch. Mailgun processes your email address to deliver communications you have requested. Mailgun's privacy policy: mailgun.com/privacy-policy

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format

  • Withdrawal of consent — unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Ghost Pro uses HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Significant changes will be announced on this page and — where appropriate — by email to members.
